The Worst is Over

Finally submitted my resignation letter a few hours ago. Whew!

Now, I only have to negotiate my turnover period since my boss won't accept the date written on my letter. She needs more time, and I kind of agree with her. On the other hand, I also acquiesce with my soon-to-be marketing family that I have to start soon or to be specific, I need to be on board before the press launch in Misibis Bay on March 24 to 26.

Thus, I need to settle this within the week. And settle it fast. *fingers crossed*

On a lighter note, celebrated our 27th month with boss at Frazzled Cook. Yumyum! Forgot to take pictures because I was still preoccupied with what transpired during my conversation with my boss - my work boss.

I promise to take pictures next time. Sorry!

February 19: The Send Button & My Medium Brown Hair

This is what happens when I vowed not to think about the pressures of the coming week - my hair turned dark brown, with my unconceived consent.

And I still haven't pressed the "send" button until now, after hours of staring at the computer, editing and re-editing the letter. It's not that I have doubts that this path that I'm about to take isn't for me, I'm just dreading the actions that I have to make before I start the next chapter of my career.

Oh well, sooner or later, I have to press that button. Man up, Jam!

On a lighter note, at least I know how I look with brown hair - medium brown to be specific.

Meet "Boy," My New Toy

And oh, I forgot to introduce you to my new toy. Everyone, please meet "Boy."

Random Thoughts

First and foremost, I think I did well with what I was referring to here. Several things happened after that, and they happened fast.

I asked for signs and I was given some. Now, the ball is in my hands and I know what needs to be done. And soon, next week soon. But for now, I think it's better to try to not think about it (which is damn difficult) and enjoy the weekend. Hopefully.

P.S. I'll go shopping. It takes my mind off a lot of things.

Keeping Fingers Crossed

Tomorrow will be more than just the Valentine's day. More than anything else, tomorrow will determine the steps that I'm going to take in the next few months, career-wise.

I hope to do good. Nay, I hope to do VERY good.

For now, I need to prepare - and I am, - and keep my fingers crossed.

Wish me luck! :)

Facebook Saves the Day

Thank God for Facebook!

I finally got in touch with a college professor whom I've been wanting to talk to for some time now. We used to have talks over coffee about my plans after college, and he was one of the many who encouraged me to pursue law. I lost his contact details when my phone reformatted itself and deleted all my contacts, then I've been so preoccupied with work that I couldn't visit him in his office until I can barely remember where it was.

So now that I kinda need his recommendation for my MBA application and of course catch up and all, I finally have the motivation I needed to look for him.

See you next week, Sir Butch!

TV Addiction = Therapy

Looking forward to the latest episodes of the TV series I love to watch is one of the things that keeps me from being bitchy at work, week after week. No exaggeration here. Incompetence is just something I find so hard to deal with, especially if the bosses consciously overlook such because of their tenure.

Well, enough about that. Only good vibes and happy thoughts for 2011!

Here are the series I painstakingly download, despite the problematic broadband connection:

GREY'S ANATOMY SEASON 7

I'm not really a fan of Meredith Gray but I love her soulmate, Cristina Yang. Their srew-ups and everyday drama are just addicting.

HOUSE SEASON 7

Simply put, I LOVE Gregory House... and of course, Hugh Laurie. His sharp wit is just hilarious. And how that he's in love with Cuddy, things are far more interesting. Complications, complications.

FRINGE SEASON 3
A new discovery of late 2010 and I've been hooked ever since. Although there are news that the series is on the brink of being axed because of its rather low ratings, I'm still hoping that they can make it through. Or if they decide to end it, I hope they give it the proper ending it deserves.

WHITE COLLAR SEASON 2

There's nothing really that exciting about this series but I like watching it to see how things end.

There's also GLEE but I don't download it anymore since ETC offers match airing with that in the US. And of course, there's the daily dose of Criminal Minds on FOX Channel.

Thank God for TV!

Hello, Bohol!

This is me going back to blogging. And I hope to keep this for more than just a few months and hopefully, update it regularly too.

To keep things positive and fun, I'm starting my blog about my recent travel to Bohol with my college blockmates - and their respective plus ones.

Visited Hinagdanan Cave, Blood Compact Site, Baclayon Church & Museum, Loboc River Cruise with Buffet, Chocolate Hills, Butterfly Sanctuary, Prony - the famous Bohol Python and of course, Bohol wouldn't be complete without the tarsier encounter.

There was also the dolphin-watching, snorkeling and lunch at Balicasag Island and after a very challenging boat ride, arrived at Virgin Island for some fierce jump shots photo session, haha. And for three nights in a row, I learned the art of poker!

Definitely the perfect way to start 2011! 'Til next time guys!
